One day I was running some errands. I was listening to my iPod, then I got a phone call and talked all the way through an ATM transaction. I stopped and looked around. Damn near everyone had something plugged into their heads. It struck me just how far we'd been removed from true human contact, let alone getting in touch with the natural world. Felt like someone should say something.
