From 2004 to 2010 I worked as creative director for the small, environmentally conscious clothing brand. I got on board during the company's infancy, working from my apartment while we warehoused in the founder's garage. In the early stages I was responsible for everything from brand identity to apparel and accessory design to photography and catalog layout. Mission Playground is the most challenging company I've ever worked with. The shear volume of work would have been enough, but the art was highly conceptual and without constraints on style, the brand consitently pushed me beyond where I thought I could go. Subsequently, I learned a lot about myself as an artist and as a professional. The tee graphics were always the nucleus of the project and my favorite part of the job. They appear in chronological order here.
